Welcome… I guess?

I have absolutely no idea why I have decided to make another blog – my first blog was an embarrasing stint in 2004/5 when I thought that using Photoshop gradients was cool and pink everywhere was the cool thing to do. I soon realised otherwise. I tried again in 2008 by making a fashion blog, but when I realised I didn’t have enough time to keep up with the trends I immediently gave up.

So why now?

After deciding on my future career path at the start of this year, I knew that a lot of my graduate life would be devoted towards the internet and all the wonders (and innovative technologies) it has to offer. Using Twitter has been an amazing way to keep up with all this news, but at the same time it doesn’t give you much leway for sitting down, and actually thinking about what these technologies are all about and what they have to offer the world. Although I can’t promise I will have daily updates, I will try to keep posts as frequent as possible – with quality exceeding quantity.

So welcome! And hopefully I will have posted again by next week!

P.S. Wondering about the cocktails part? Well I am a pretty big cocktail “researcher” and after six months in one of the most amazing bar scenes in the entire universe aka Melbourne, I need to be able to find these same places in Sydney. I will probably mix in a few of my fave Melbourne bars as well throughout the posts.
